Oh, and have a Happy Birthday Tutorial. Here it is!

Well... since you asked.

My 9 year old daughter (Valeria) 'woke' me up with breakfast in bed at 8am (I has been awake since 6:30am). After I ate (well... shared with all the children, Tatiana (2 YO), Alejandro (4 YO) & Valeria) I decided to stay in bed. I fell asleep (weird!) and got out of bed LATE... 10am.

I asked Alejandro what he wanted to do for my BDay. ANYTHING. He said "Papi, I want to go to the dollar-store!" All the articles there cost $1... so you do see a lots of little trinkets and crap, with some GREAT gems hidden among the aisles. I asked him why... he responded "I want to buy you a present." Puzzled, I asked what he wanted to buy. "A toothbrush!"

So, we walked (well, I walked, he rode on his red wagon and I pulled him along) to the Dollar Store. He got me (and I use the word "me" with the utter most discretion) a toothbrush, a coloring book, some Iron Man crayons, a Happy Birthday balloon and an energy drink. We walked to the Deli, and shared a chicken sandwich. Then we walked to the Ice Cream parlor, and he had a Superman thing (only The Mighty Emperor knows what the hell is in that multi-colored sugary concoction) and I had a (free!) Coffee ice cream. We walked home.

Then I managed to video chat (via Skype) with LGW... he was just waking up (he is 14 hours ahead of me) and my children got a kick of the way he says my name "Edwin"... now they all call me 'eee-doo-in' and giggle. Thanks, LGW... hehehe. He got to see them fighting (pushing, shoving, screaming and torturing... being sibblings) for "Mr. baloony". By the time it was 6pm, we went out to eat... I drank TWO Margaritas (I rarely drink any more at all), so it was a GREAT dinner.

The kids decided to take ME (again with the use of the discretionary word) to Toys-R-Us (a giant toy store... kindda like Al's Toy Barn in the Toy Story movie). Tatiana insisted it was her birthday too, so we BOTH had to wear a BDay crown in the store. They got ME 2 Monster Trucks, 1 fairy princess and a newborn baby doll. Somehow, I have not gotten to play with ANY of my gifts.

We came back home and I opened a box of models that DeafNala sent, for me to take pictures and eventual sell in eBay. I almost vomited dinner. So... while I technically did not got any 40k loot... I'm not sure... I have a personal philosophy that if I can swallow something, it is mine. I am trying to figure out how to swallow this! It will be difficult, but I think I will get creative... worth the effort IN and OUT!

Ohhh... the Energy Drink? I drank it at 11pm. It is 5:40am and I STILL awake. HA!

Yes.. but you were probably clubbing & dancing... I have THREE children! The only clubbing I do is over their heads when they don't listen! Just kidding... I don't get to even do that! When thay wake up, I'm awake... taking care of them & playing with them. They take my other time. HA!

I can vouch for that. he has three very energy kids.... lol saw them in action when we skype'd.

No i have it for real. My dad was in Vietnam when they dropped Agent Orange and some symptom can be passed down to children. And i inherited Insomnia along with a couple other minor symptoms
