| I've been thinking of some vehicles rules to incorporate into Death Squads. I made a few posts talking about the Gorkamorka vehicle rules. I really like the idea of 3 types of vehicles (truck, buggy, and bike). The problem is that besides the Orks, I don't think any army has the same kind of selections. So that's why I'm trying to look for other miniature companies that make models similar in scale and detail to 40k. Or if worse comes to worst, I could scratch build some of my own. Going from the armies listed in the book already, this is what I was thinking of: For the Imperial Guard's truck, I was thinking of something like this: If I could find a model like that already, I could spruce it up in a jiffy to make it look more spacey. It would be better if all the vehicles were open topped, instead of tanks. I'm not sure what I'd do for Eldar, or even Tau since they use a lot of curved parts. It would be pretty tough to scratch build something like that for them, but I could try. | |

| I sure do!! And boy its looking SWEET!!! Biggest problem is there is the retarded space Marines still sitting in the gunner and pilots seat......I would have to really hack it to pieces to make it IG friendly, and since this was my first one I was just trying to get the feel of it. I plan on making a second the same way, just replace the SM gunner and pilot with the IG Gunner and pilot from the Valkerie. Sneaky right??? Another thing to look at is 1:35 scale Military truck models. My future purchase for a large truck will be this...... I enough random bits that I can make this look more 40kish, and the .30 Cal guns on the back can easily pass for heavy stubbers | |
