| Ok after making a great theme for my Son [Robots] and Daughter [Cute fuzzy Animals] for their resepctive Blood Bowl teams.
I am now struck with creative block for my own team. Originally I was thinking Skaven but now I am leaning towards Necromancer team.
with Werewolves, Flesh golems, Wights, Ghouls and ZOMBIES!!!! its a win win team...
but what theme?
I was thinking WWII Germans but I can't seem to find a good mini for the Wight, Ghoul, and Flesh Golems. I can find WWII German Zombies and Werewolves. but then again if I go that way then I may offend some players/peoples/public/non-zombies etc....
as an alternative I was thinking of a Circus, with the Zombies as clowns, Flesh Golem as Strong men, Ghouls as a hunch back kind of guy, Werewolf as wolfboys.... sorry no room for the bearded lady. [as we all know clowns are creepy] but have no idea on minis are out there. been trying to find some with out much luck...
third option is either a mental institute or Prison setting. again not sure on minis..... both offer some great conversions, paint schemes, Team owner head shrink/prison warden, cheerleaders nurses/visiting prostitutes, etc etc.
Anyone got any great ideas for a theme and can show me some minis or a range I could then get to flesh this team out?
i'll need the following:
2x Werewolves 2x Flesh Golems 2x Ghouls 2x Wights 8x Zombies. [more as I can gain more Zombies during each game]
so that's your challenge anyone manZombie enough to try.....
LGW

| interesting don't know why but minis that have bases on them [eg do not go into a slotted base] bug me.... don't know why but they do. call it a weird condition they just do..... was thinking of using these either for my Zombies or Wights: LGW EDIT: Steam punk Necromancer team??? | |

they are from Warmachine and the Cryx faction: this is how my team is looking at the moment trying for a Steam punk look: Werewolves: minis from "third Reich"Flesh Golems: "Fantasy Football"Ghouls: TBA Have NO IDEA what to use........Wight: Warmachine Cryx Faction [will use the left and right minis the center one is not going to be used] Zombies: Warmachine Cryx Factionthe only issue I got is the Werewolves are not steampunk enough. so I am thinking If I change an arm add on a backpack and there you have a steampunk werewolf.

| LGW stop it! You are making my brain want to start Blood Bowl again (I can't - not yet anyway) - these models are superb and the team will look great, whichever you use. Grindhouse games has some blitzhund (werewolf) and zombie minis that might work. Heresy miniatures do some cool deathball minis that might suit you. That flesh golem is genius by the way! Laney | |

Laney My EVIL plan is working MMMMMWWWWWWHHHHH!!!!!!! I may change the Werewolf mini to one that can be convert easier. then again with the "Third Reich" wolfs they are one piece so a slice and its done. still struggling for a ghoul mini. Also I am not fussed on the Grindhouse werewolves. the one jumping the barrel looks all wrong the other one is blah. Ideas for Ghoul: would need to remove the back pack and Harpoon thrower arm, this hopefully reduce his foot print down from a 40mm base to 25mm base. just not sold on the idea. The werewolf will look good As I could salvage his original claw and reattach it to the bionic arm. Thus preserving some more of the mini but still making him look steam punk. So anyone got any great Ghoul minis LET ME KNOW!!!!! LGW

| trying to cut costs down for my theme. With that in mind I have been trying to get the minis all from the same supplier rather then from different sources and getting gouged on p&p. The only issues I got now is to find a werewolf mini. 90% of the team is made up of Cryx from Warmachine. So instead of the BB Flesh Golem [which is freaking awesome] this is his replacement: Ghouls to be these guys: and for my Necromancer: | |

| Those mini's are complete and utterly awsome. I know the flesh golem from the other store were cool, but I think it will add to the team / theme to be from the same store; getting the same "feel" all around. | |

Yup!!!! I will save in the p&p, plus just worked it out that by changing the BB fleshie to the Cryx version saves me $8NZD just on the mini. so a double win. [NB: I get a decent discount off the warmachine product from my supplier.... makes it worth while I wouldn't do this if I was paying full RRP.]

| Necromancer Blood Bowl Team: V3.7 I think this is every position filled even with a special character Hack Enslash. Which will me made from the Mechanithralls Unit Leader. [Which is easy as just adding in a chainsaw part to one of his Gloves. eg chainfist] Head Coach/Necromancer: Flesh Golems: WereWolves: TBA????? Wight: Ghouls: Zombies: [NB: the one in the middle with the collar will be converted into Hack Enslash Star Player.] Cheer Leaders & Turn Marker: Re-Rolls, & Assistant Coach: | |

Now I am going to have to make a custom board for them now..... Some kind of Grave yard theme or a Steam punk factory pitch... Will start doing some design notes soon. Need to find a decent sized brief case. Cheers LGW
