| has anyone seen this game? looks very promesing, the rules for the dust tactics, are not as complicated as 40k or the like, BUT the miniatures look fantastic! And they come pre primed for painting! what more could you want! I am planning on getting this game for christmas! They are also releasing propper miniature rules, I presume in the style of other wargames, the tactics is much more simplified with less variables. But as i said I love the miniatures! The mechs are fantastic!

They also do a range of 1:35 scale models, very expensive though, but look amazing!
here is a video from fantasy flight games :p

| Dust models are gorgeous, the laser grenadiers would make wonderful melta IG soldiers in a german themed army.
Also, the game is great, you can play a fast version with a smaller board and only infantry anywhere, it's a lot of fun.
I bought the starter set and some extra squads, never looked back

| I've played this game a few times and was massively disappointed I'm afraid. I was hoping for something with tactical depth and instead it seemed like a dice fest which punished movement and aggression.
Models are awesome and if I do use them it would be for something like a conversion to Disposable Heroes (a significantly better WW2 game, although without the weird elements).
Interestingly this game is going to get a standard tabletop version, as Stryke mentioned, which is being co-authored by Andy Chambers. Now I'm not yet sure if that is a good or bad thing, since the track record is a bit shaky but if it draws on Starship Troopers then it might be OK. Unfortunately, I am of the understanding that it uses the same dice as the Core boardgame (a standard D6, but with only two different 'faces') and will therefore be a dice fest again...
