| With my SWTOR addiction wearing off, I actually felt like picking up the paintbrush again. My next project is, and has been for a while, my Urban Fighter squad: it was only logical, considering how many buildings I have been making the last months. I converted a whole lot of models some time ago. I got myself a few boxes of AT-43 troopers (love the models) and mixed them with Cadian bits. So I could start painting right away. I had already painted up a Vanguard some time ago in a Shadow Grey/White combination: I dunno, I'm not quite satisfied. What do you guys think? Of course I couldn't wait for opinions and I started messing around. I managed the following by painting Fortress Grey over Adeptus Battlegrey, soaking the model in Devlan Mud and then highlighting again with Fortress Grey. And some white and red for the markings (and yes, the sword is bent. Forgeworld quality, eh?): What do you guys like better? | |

| They are awesome! The guy with the bandage is GREAT! My fav... except his sword looks crooked. Excellent penmanship on the #3. Bases are simple, yet SUPR effective! Great job! | |

| Both look cool - but the small red touches add more visual interest on the second model.
Cheers (more please)

| Thanks!! I'll paint more, as soon as I can. What do you guys think about the armor on the second one, though? Right now it blends in with the fatigues. The unit markings provide contrast, so I'm thinking the armor doesn't need to do that. Normally I WOULD want the armor in contrasting colors, but, wel... Opinions? | |

| I wouldn't go for the contrast - it makes them more realistic, plus the unit markings stand out.

| I think the second one looks awesome and you should keep it as it is. I think it all blending together makes it look really nice and realistic without making it look bland, and then the markings really make it look nice. | |

| Does it matter what we say? You are going to change it anyway. Mark my words, the next pictures we'll see are of a completely different scheme But yes, the red on the second model makes it 'pop' a little more. Maybe to separate the armor plates from fatigues you could darken the fatigues a bit more. | |

| If you are going to change it to something weird... I suggest you paint the uniforms just like domatron' Kroots! | |
