| Brilliant! Loving the work. You've managed, through good use of bits and green stuff, to create a squad where each member is an individual, but not at the expense of squad cohesion - they look like they belong together!
Looking forward to seeing more.

| Cheers,
The heads are from maxmini - they make the best stuff!

My medic: 'The Wizard' Armsman with proximity scanner and vox unit My second attempt at a 'sten pattern' hellgun Just one more special weapon guy, a regular with autogun and a sniper (how go you make a spaceship style ghillie suit?) to go! | Wow man! You keep popping out sweet squads all the time! I'm jealous of your building speed! But love to look at your squads for inspiration.

| What Gatlag said.
I am posting two links. They are from an old white dwarf on the Imperial Navy and boarding actions.
I hope they might be useful.

| Thanks Gatlag - I'm on a bit of a roll at the minute.
Thanks Da Bank - I'll have a look at these later.

| Hi Guys, Still working on the armsmen (and some death cult assassins) and I came across this model I bought from zealot miniatures a while back. It shouted daemonhost at me so I thought I'd see what I could come up with... By the way Zealot have added some kadesh (tau) female torsos to go with their heads and a very cool banisher/priest with eviscerator (great for IG/GK armies). Ta Laney | |

| Cheers Mord - he's a cool model. The chains themselves are pretty easy - get some model chain (I use ship model chain) and wrap it around the model. Then drip thin super glue down the chain and hang is until it goes solid, do the same for each chain in turn and then glue on the hooks to each end.
I've completed a couple of death cult assassins with samurai swords (photos tomorrow).

Where did the torso come from on your "sten" hell fire gun guy?

| @Da Bank: That's a combat armour torso from maxmini - they fit catachan arms perfectly - but need a little trimming to fit cadian arms. The back has a small backpack attached (which is a bit of a pain - I'd rather it was plain and came with separate backpack bits - but that would make it pricey). Maxmini also do matching greatcoat legs, which I haven't stumped up for yet.

| Very nice models. They have lots of character. The detail on the maxmini heads look svery crisp. I like the toques (the canadian word) you have sculpted. Very good fit with the cadian bits too. | |

| Mudboy is spot on - Spaceship decking it is. I wanted an easy, uniform basing for this squad that didn't involve slate and sand.

| Again... the devil is on the details. That is the reason why I LOVE your models. Sure, the painting is awesome... but the details! WOW! I could stare at the plastic crack for HOURS. Knowing that you have the 'vision' of what they will look (how to make them individuals, yet feel cohesive) is AMAZING!
Thanks for sharing... now... POST MOAR!!!!!

| At Mords request... Deathcult Assassins (fairly standard conversion - lets you make lots of squads on the cheap)... Three new fighters (just one special weapon guy to go) The Sniper (like this pose)... The standard bearers bush hat is going - it looks silly on this model. So vote for beret or another toque for him instead. Quite please with the sniper - remind me a bit fo the guy out of the hitman games (not intentional) - In big games I might even make him my Vindicare. To be fair, beyond a rough idea, I tend to just play with the bits until I get something that looks right (these guys were supposed to be mordian/praetorian when I started!). If you select and limit the bits you use (resin/metal conversion bits are from maxmini and chapterhouse adn the main parts are just regular cadian and catachan command bits), try to keep things vaguely in heroic scaleWith the cap comforters it was mainly because I couldn't find any conversion heads that matched my needs. I need to do a squad at some point that uses lots of forgeworld elysian stuff (weapons, heads etc) - that would look cool. But given zombicide took all my hobby money for the next couple of months that must wait! Cheers Laney | |

| I like the bush hat. You have to be mad to be the one to volunteer the giant flag in urban warfare. Give him a huge flamboyant feather and embrace the insanity! | |

I second the motion for insanity! Hat looks GREAT! For a flag bearer... why not a 'kid'? Someone that looks young (not a child, but a teen) and scrawny. I even got a name for him... one that is very oceanic and marine. How about BAIT? Great looking models!
