So another holiday and im working again... Not really got any work to do (or wants to do right now), so thought I would start a discussion about what weapons and combos, with skills or equipment you all like / favorits.

Only thing I think is important, is to clarify if it is testet and tryed or if its "only" theori.

I will ofc start:

Chainsword+Shotgun
This combo I tried in 2 games with a Chaos Champion and it worked just great. This should also work for IG and Renegades officers.
The role for this model is staying behind the front line, using the shotgun, 2 shots no penalty and charging in after a few rounds of combat, tipping the scale in your favor.
If combat is going well, maby just charge the weekest and going for the easy kill / xp.
I know this is not like.. wow, powerfull.. but it makes a decent shooter / fighter that much better.

Bolt Pistol+Telescope Scope
This I have not tried yet, but the idea came doing another discussion we had.
The Scope gives the pistol 6" extra range, so standing still you can shoot 2 S4 a 18", potentially very powerfull.
What I have planed to try a some time is: IG Sergeant with, Bolt Pistol, Telescope Scope, Cameleoline and infiltration (wished Lieutenants could get Stealth skills) and whatever armor you can get later on.
Infiltrate about 15-18" away fro the enemy, out of line of sight, first turn move in cover and Lay low, from second turn, stand up and start shooting the 2 S4 shots.

Dont know if it is any good or worth the equipment and skill, but will be worth an least one try Very Happy

So is there anything you guys always try to get becource it works or any combos you might like to try out, lets hear them and get inspired Very Happy

I like Catachan Fang + Chain with on my Catachan Officers. Nothing fancy... but I discovered that Catachan Officers do NOT want to shoot (so they can sneak out) and a Chain is the best HtH Weapon for the price.

Thats cool, I havend tried the Chain yet, on paper im not sure how good its look, but then again it dont look to bad either, I might have to try it for my Chosen or some Orks.

When I do a Catachan (and I will at some point) Im gonna go with 2 Catachan Fangs for most Officers.

At First, 2 Catachan Fangs are way too expensive...

Im not sure i understand your point, Catachan officers get one free Catachan Fang at start up. Another Fang costs 14 credit (rarity 5) and a Chain costs 13 credit.
Difference is 1 credit, not a lot to me Very Happy -mayby im missing something scratch
