| Holstered weapon it is! A slung weapon would have interfered with the helmet, plus was after an officer look with him... And an old model rebased and given a little GS joins the team And... A little more paint on my sniper (75% done...ish). Cheers Laney | |

| looking good my friend. The holstered pistol is cracking.
What about painting the rifle stock a different colour to break up the model a bit? | |

| Thanks Gents! The gun needs quite a bit of work yet I agree. Just a quick update. I've undercoated the three new models and then got inspired/distracted into making a Tallarn (or similar desert/radioactive wasteland planet) fighter. Here is the WIP (the weapon is a place holder - I've switched from power weapon and pistol to rifle - not sure what to go for)... I have a second bionic ready for his right arm. Thoughts? Laney | |

| Thanks Stryke. He may not end up a sniper, but the gun does look good. The scope is from Zealot Miniatures. It is actually a little large, but would be great from Orks! Laney | |

| Ok... A little update, then I must paint, because another idea is bubbling away and the Chaos Cultists need me to build a proper squad. Tallarn Swordsman! Cheers Laney | |

| Thanks gents - I was rather pleased with the GS myself... Quick update... The Arbites Sniper is finished! (just needs a matt spray). I wanted fairly muted colours and little colour variation (blue being the only real spot colour). I need to crack on with the others now... Feedback appreciated (be constructive!) Cheers LANEY | |

| Thanks Lazi - he's primed and ready for painting now. I added the heel of a foot, a pouch and a hammer to him to finish him off. I'm not sure how I want to paint him - as loyalist or heretic yet (maybe a bit of both). Parts list - chaos cultist body (close combat leader from the DV box set). Right arm - necron and claws from the new CSM Raptor kit. Left arm - cadian command box bionic arm, hand from zealot minis bionic arms set Backpack - necron deathmark, missile launcher targeter, handle from a maxmini hammer. Servo Arm - psycannon muzzle, part of zealot minis bionic arm, runtherd claw part, prow ram from BFG, muzzle from deathmark rifle. Face - Targeter from servo skull (cadian comm squad), bit from necron gun, pipe from Dragon? miniatures. Sundry bits - pouch from maxmini, hammer from empire flagellants, shoulder pads from chimera commander, tau grenades. There are a couple of other bits too small to mention. 20+ bits! Cheers Laney | |
