| Craftworld - Otesh Carrec (Grey Soul) Craftworld Otesh Carrec is one of the many ships not in the immediate area of the Eye of Terror. After heavy losses during the fall and the subsquicent battles and wars the craftworld was granted a quite spot in the gallexy to rebuild and fix repairs, as well as most importantly breed and swell their numbers. The people of Otesh Carrec are not a happy lot the entire ship in considered to be in mourning for the loss of thousands of eldar wich is why they changed the ships name from Lan Carrec (bright soul) to Otesh Carrec (Grey Soul). Every part of the culture on the craftworld changed when they went into their seculsion to regroup. Their normally bright surroundings on the ships where painted over to reflect the mood of the people black and grey even the uniforms of the guardians of Otesh Carrec where changed to reflect this. Anger must be UsedThe depression of the entire populous also lead to anger at the dark gods. 5 Warrior Shrines where built in the dome of "sorrows path" to begin to house the training aspect warriors who where taken by their anger. The first established was the Dire Avengers of the Redeeming Sons (Dai Son On) Shrine. The Dire Avenger shrine was founded by Asurmen himself who felt the craftworld of Otesh Carrec needed a strong foundation of warriors to start to heal it's people. His first Exarch would be Doriel who trained under him to teach the warriors. The second shrine founded was the Striking Scorpions of the Shadowed Claw which was founded by the first exarch to emerge from the shrine of the Redeeming Sons. The others followed and filled the five shrines. For many years this continued until today there are 30 shrines 5 of each of the main aspects none of the shrines ever seeing battle has lead to a restlessness among the aspect warriors and the exarchs. Some of the shrines lay dormant some thrive. Doriel RebornA young aspect warrior has just fallen into his anger and cannot remove his warmask after a training exercise in his temple. His Exarch has ordered that he leave his temple and find his own because he is now a Exarch himself. Kelathious of the Dire Avenger Aspect Shrine of Shining Suns has lost his way and wonders the Dome of Sorrows Path until he comes upon a aspect shrine which has lain dormant for many years that of the the Redeeming Sons. He opens the doors and makes his way through the immense training dome to the temple within. There he find the armor of the Exarch and the weapon of the Exarch. He puts the armor on and becomes the Exarch of the Redeeming Sons Doriel. Teacher, warrior and leader of his aspect warriors and initiates who would soon arrive for training. Back to the fightAfter years mourning and population recovery the Eldar of Otesh Carrec are now called back to the fight. The first missions where to take on a number of exodites from Exodite World Tirathain. Tirathain was in the sights of a Hive World attack from the Tyrinids. Even though the attack never happened There were a number of warriors who came with their familes also to join the fight elseware. With them came a number of Dragon Riders and infiltrator exodites.

| After my current experience of reading Path of the Warrior I will be rewriting this because it doesn't match the working fluff that is now in place thanks to this wonderful insightful look into the eldar exarch and his troops. | |

| Is it worth a read? - I've never read too much about the eldar beyond the codex. Cool fluff by the way - I hope you'll keep the essence of what you've written - I really get the sense of doom for the race as a whole - but with a sense of hope that they (your craftworld) are returning th the fight. Cheers Laney | |

| *Updated*
Yes if you are interested in the Eldar then yes it's a great book.
I am didn't change it too much to reaffirmed the way you become the exarch, which the book covers very well. I also made it more clear what exactly this squad was all about with the new post title. The squad will focus on being a shooty squad with some help form a few of the aspect warriors of the Shadowed Claw shrine to help with the melee.
Striking Scorpions may be my next eldar squad i want a scorpion claw specially after reading the book it was about the striking scorpions of the Deadly Shadow and Hidden Death. (the main character was a member of the Deadly Shadow and then became Exarch of the Hidden Death). | |
