| I think you are being too hard on yourself. It is a nice clean conversion. It look's like a scout and that's perfect. When you look at conversions in general, they often have way too many little details that you don't really notice at first glance. Your model is simple and clean, and most importantly you have practised your GS skills which is exactly what the P.E.V. is all about. Learning and improving your skills. And as a little bonus there's a secret gift included I love it! I want it! | |

| Thanks guys! you are too kind... Tomorrow I'll prime it and Phase III will begin. All I'm worried is about Phase IV - Sending him away. As a side note, we need a better cry emoticon. | |

| Time for my update... still NOT done... so much stuff! So far I'm REALLY happy with my Prisoner (wanting to keep him is a good sign!) and the model has lots of firsts for me. PLEASE... constructive criticisms are MORE than welcomed! I want do my very best, and you guys are a great source of inspiration! I took the pics with my cell, in a hurry... The lettering on the sign was a pain, but they seem ok (or at least Orkish!) The Gretchin has not seen paint yet, and the Skull on the front is missing the red to complete the logo. What do you think of the box... woody enough? This side will have the "Prisoner Exchange 2010" and my signature. I tried the patina (weathering for metals) that Laney posted (GREAT TUTORIAL!) I would appreciate feedbak on it... The stuff on the Aquilas seems too much. Ideas on fixes? The barrels, lamp and bombs... they are all done. What do you think of the weathering there? The Barrels look cartonish on purpose... to contrast with the realistic older shells. [bad italian accent] FRA-GEE-LEE! Must be Italian! [/bad italian accent] Obviously, I'm missing the Italian flag. I plan to work hard and finish this guy... I have only 5 days left! | |

| I love the Amparor - this is something I would never have thought of to do - great job! The shells in the back look good - If you want to tone down the verdigris - a light drybrush of the bronze colour you used should relegate the weathering to the recesses. Cheers Laney | |

| Librarian: The wood was done by: - Painting wood Bestial Brown. - Drybrush Dwarf Flesh. - Drybrush Human Flesh. - Wash Brown. - LIGHT Drybrush Dwarf Flesh. - LIGHT Drybrush Human Flesh. - LIGHT Drybrush Bone White. It turned out to be a darker brown, but to me it was the right tone to represent weathering. I need to fix the wash on the Aquilas... maybe some light watered-down Brown wash, to minimize the patena (verdegris). Da Bank: Wow... you are right! Holy Cow... now I want to keep this! I wonder if I could paint a quick Ork. | |

| DISASTER STRUCK!
My primer bottle clogged and I ended up with a over-primed head (lost most of it's features). When trying to remove the excess paint, only got worst! Now I have partially painted model with no head.
Got to replace it... DAMN!

| @ Mordheimer, it really looks great.
@ Librarian, I found that a product called Super Clean works wonders for getting paint and primer off of my models. I just let it sit in the liquid for a day or so and then use a tooth brush to scrub away all the paint. I was amazed the first time I tried it. Don't know how available it would be in Brazil but I find it in the automotive department in Walmart.

| Super Clean, huh? I'll take a look in my local Walmart. But even if I don't find it, that's ok. I'll use another head and give the faceless one as a trophy for one of my nobs! | |
