Meh. MMORGs aren't my thing. Just a lot of repetative number pushing, and extremely formulaic missions.

Although it's funny that they are still pushing out the phrase "grim darkness", when it's kinda become a joke-phrase. Maybe they're proud they kinda started it.

What, no Adepta Sororitas or playable Eldar? The brief snippet of Guardsmen kinda made them look like NPCs... so its all Space Marines, all the time.

Not really... IF you get unlimited 'resurrects' with no penalty! HA!

They'll probably stick Eldar into one of the expansions... this is just the first version. The buzz seems to think SM and maybe CSM are the only playable factions at this time. Orks will come soon, I'd wager.

So... where do we file the paperwork to make a guild/clan/chapter?

I just hope this game doesn't blow, which it proberly will to some degree as it's not a sandbox game the likes of Star Wars Galaxies, that was the best mmo in my oppenion, before the combat revamp and ''new game enhancements'' which completely changed and ruined the game, thrus creating a less successful wow clone...

im also eagerly awaiting Old Republic which will blow this game away im sure in size and scope alone.

I do look forward to more fluff, too. As a fan of "minor" races, I'd love any new animals, races, or roles that might pop up.

For fluff like animals and stuff look into the Dark Heresy RPG book and Rouge Trader.
Those have some nice new stuff.

I've peeked at some of the Rogue Trader Rpg books... I don't own them, sadly, but I take a few notes. The latest RT adventure book, for example, had a few things I'd love to pitch as soon as we finish with some of the items on the "to do" list.
