| Here's a rough layout of my prisoner. I'm planning on having him transforming from the knees down into a bird-deamon and maybe trying wings. I also want to try some new painting techniques such as NMM, and OSL so any good tutorials on that would be very helpful. Feedback always appreciated | |

| Cool stuff - the colour scheme you've chosen is ace. What do you have planned for the bird legs (very tzeentch by the way)? | |

| Thanks guys, Mordheimer: They are bird-thing legs (not that you can see in the picture), the idea was to have him transforming, they are a little thin but I'm happy with how they turned out. The legs I was going to do blue, but I'm now leaning more towards a muted yellow any suggestions? | |

| HAHAH! Yes!!! I took a second look... bird legs! HA! I can hear the kid saying... - Quote :
- - MOM!!! There is a Chaos Space Marine perched on my window!
- It's only your imagination, little Kiwi. Go back to bed.
- But, Mom! He has a Bolter!!!
- ENOUGH! Last time was a Murgle Monster under your bed. Go to sleep!
- It was a Nurgle Mon....
- I SAID GO TO BED!!!

| Loving the concept kiwi The CSM is appropriately chaos-y, and I can't wait to see some more of the base! | |

| Thanks guys, Ok so I finished him and his base today, but I can't see myself having time to send him tomorrow, really, really sorry about that . No pics as EVERY battery in the house is out of charge, but I'm very pleased with how he has turned out, I've tried out all the techniques I know of on him, NNM for the first time, OSL, blending (although I'm still not really clear on exactly what it is), ect. The legs and some of the silver NMM could probably be a bit better but he is finished. One thing I have found that really makes painting more enjoyable (but also longer) for me is a wet pallete. Mine is just a layer of baking paper over wet paper towels on a plate but it makes getting good colour graduation so much easier and lets me go back and use mixes again. Have you guys used them before? Why have I only recently found out about them? Feedback always appreciated | |

| Dozer lives and dies by the wet palette. He is always pleased with it. I tried it, but I need more practice. HA!
Put the batteries to charge... and take pics!!! I want to see ol chicken legs!

| Very cool. The bird legs are really creepy. I like the subtle Tzeentch symbol on the base. | |

| I must admit that the legs look a bit too much like stilts to me.
The painting is great! That loincloth is really nice and the NMM look's awesome. The base is also well executed with the symbol.
In all, it's pretty damn cool and I wouldn't mind receiving it.

| Great Chaos Marine. The colour combination is amazing (I will be copying this colour scheme)! Really top notch freehand and base. The bits that I love the most (as weird as this might sound) is the light blue on the backpack claws - awesome!

| Ok, forget what I wrote before about the legs. Now that I see it IRL it's FREAKING AWESOME!!! My girlfriend texted me this morning that there was a package waiting for me and I've spend all day being exited about what I was going to get. I giggled like a little schoolboy while carefully unwrapping it and my breath caught in my throat when i got it out It really is a beautyfull peice and I'm proud to have it here. Thank you so much I'll take some pic's when the light is better. The weather is so crappy here(stupid danish summer). | |

| Thanks guys, Mudboy: Glad you like him, he was my first attempt at nmm (part of the reason I left it a bit late) so it's good to know it turned out okay. I do agree with the legs looking a bit like stilts, without a joint they're pretty straight up and down, and I couldn't see where to put one. Laney: Thanks the colour scheme came out more through accident than design, it'll be be great to see what you come up with for tzeench. Mordheimer: Thanks......I think? | |

| Accident is the best way to come up with a colour scheme (especially for Tzeentch!)
