GW Liquid Green Stuff

Has anyone used this GW Liquid Green Stuff?

I just bought it but afraid to use it as I have no idea.

Need insight, help, directions, and or donations.

I've not used it myself - is there a tutorial on the GW website?

there used to be a tutorial on the games workshop site....but a lot of the articles have been taken down for some reason :S

im gonna get some of this for myself i think! i reckon it will be great at something off some of my shoddy GS work!

I've used it a little bit.

I have read that thinning it a little with water works well. It works really well to fill those annoying small gaps. Larger gaps are much more easier filled with regular greenstuff. A good thing with liquid greenstuff is that it can be filed and sanded smooth. It shrinks a bit as it dries though so it can take multiple coats to cover an area.

What are you planning to do with it?

My experience is similar to Narcissus'; I only really find it useful for gap-filling.

Compared to the regular green-stuff, it dries quite brittle; which is good or bad, depending on the situation.

Hmm, now I need the real green stuff that is like puddy/ play doh.

I think I will get some of this! I have been using Super Glue Gel it seems to work well, a friend told me about it years ago, so that is what I use all the time, and it sets up faster then the regular Super Glue! Also you spend less time holding the parts together that you are gluing!

I won't use it to glue... GS may be too brittle. You may want to try a Super Glue accelerator like...

You put the Super Glue, put the pieces together and ONE spray... DONE! The smell may not be of your liking, but it reduces drying time down to 3 seconds. It may be brittle (compared to just Super-Glue) but not much. The cool thing is that if you got a gap THEN you can use the Liquid GS to fill it... which seems to me the best use (filling gaps).
