Mission:
Search & Teleport
Seize position of five data cores and teleport to own low orbit vessel.
Rules
On the beginning of player's turn each of his models [no metter if stunned or knocked] in btb with data core marker uncontested by enemy check for successful teleport attempt.
On 5+ model and marker are teleported off the table. Model gain 1EXP. Squad gain 1ER.
Teleported models return on table via deep strike following turn.
Standard game lenght.
Win by enemy retreat or gaining more data core markers after extraction of all five from table.

10 models, shuriken catapult heavy build
IGs
12 models, knife+club+autogun build with ogryn wit rg, medic and bolter on leader
Game play
On our table markers were placed in most horrid and open places to get most of our 3d terrain setting.
Eldars won edge selection and deployed in standard [for us] 8" deep, all levels allowed deployment zone.
IG deployed
Also first turn was seized by space elves and carnage started with Eldars using they're favorable deployment and high initiative. First marker was already reached by Warlock. [He will stay there full 4 turns waiting for teleport device to kick in.
Guard replied with taking shooting positions and ogryn taking the lead. No markers reached.
Turn two ended with Eldars holding two markers and one for IG.
On this point Eldar shooting supremacy was already at high with they're assault type scannons + move vs Guards one static s3 autogun shot. But it were IGs to teleport first data core off! [Leaving center without officer supervision] Soon followed by dwo Eldar successful teleportations.
To even the odds deep striking IG Sargent targeted middle of highest walkway on bord to steal third marker from Eldar squad leader. And he missed... by 1".
Only to fall from 6" high middle of nowhere. This with two perfect Eldar ds deployment and good shooting granted enemy of mankind victory on both flanks AND the middle. With IGs occupying only rear shooting spots. [paper scraps are marks for ooa models, and yes we need more bloody counters]
Guards retreat. Win for Eldar!
Well i was playing IGs and done to much mistakes. Forgetting about one model on a far flank for 3 turns is never good. But i lost because were trying to win with shooting and was outgunned. So next time more bludgeon love for eldar and 'must have' armor on ogryn. But ogryn was beast nonetheless soaking huge amount of shurikens and dying in combat with one of the elf kin shot by two others, with Eldars never hitting they're fighting fellow!
Post game saved the day with no fatalities [+1 for medic! saving from dead to 'cause fear' ;-) one of the officers] for IG and one recruit lost for Eldar. [i ooa 1 elf and 1 more did it himself on hustle move, with enemy ooa 5 Guard squad members]
