| Thanks for the kind comments, Guys! While the photos don't really show the mini off to advantage, you get the general idea of what he looks like. He reminds me of Jack Nichelson in The Shining...that's the psycho look you mentioned, Mord. | |

| SO..two new pieces to inflict on Y'all: i.e., Yet Another Pumpkin Head AND a WONDERFUL reaper Scarecrow donated by & named for T.B.M.F. own Von Kurst...we'll check with playtable about the resemblance. The new Pumpkin Head in The Patch: Von Kurst, Himself: Group Shot: As always, your commentary would be GREATLY appreciated. | |

| Wow... the Scarecrow IS scary! Brilliant work! You paint style makes this model REALLY shine (or spook?)... damned teeth and eyes! ALSO... the NMM on the sickle... just like great special effects, it is so GREAT that seems invisible... you (me!) easily forget is painted. BRAVO! All things considering... this IS my favorite thread! Thanks for sharing! | |

| Thanks MUCHO, Mord...I can always count on you to boost my morale/motivation. The metallic is actually metallic using the same methods I use for non-metallic...I guess that makes it MNMM. The dull coat kills some of the shininess, but when viewed in person there is a definite metallic sheen to the metal. | |

| Well the Lads...such as they are...are finally done. AND here they are...this would be an appropriate time for those of discerning taste to leave the thread: The Dashing Guy in the Patch: & Friend: The Reaper: & Friends: The Patch Beast: Group Portrait: Whatcathink...translation: your commentary would be once more appreciated. | |

| Masterpieces all! When I saw the Patch Beast I uttered "WTF is that!?!?" Heheheh... I think is a great reaction. I was 'expecting' to see humanoids with pumpkin heads, but NEVER a humanized patch of pumpkins! Also this picture... VERY artistic! You are getting to be great with the camera! The gang looks great! Are you keeping those or are they going to wreck havoc somewhere else? Thanks for sharing... great work! | |

| Thanks for the kind commentary, Mord. Despite the fact this is not a Fantasy Forum, you always seem to be the first to respond & the most enthusiastic to boot. The Patch Beast is Reaper's Rotpatch, Pumpkin Golem: http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/03377/latest/03377 He has a strange sort of charm all his own...& we hope he keeps it to himself. | |

| It's Double Post Time: I forgot to answer your question. Thus far the Crew is staying in Texas; of course, being a mercenary sort means this may change at any time/offer. | |

| Well, Deaf... it is your deranged imagination and wicked talent that I find so interesting. I do like Fantasy... but I LOVE YOUR WORK! Among all this lasers it is great to see some old fashion scythes! The luck is OURS because you share your art here. We find it very inspirational. BTW, your cool pics inspired me into investigating how to increase the auto-resizing of the posted pics! Hehehehe. Back on topic... how you find this stuff? The golem is awesome... and it FITS your theme! Hmmm... I just notice that the golem has his... errr... boy pumkpins hanging WAY too low!! Hhehehe... sorry... | |

| These pumpkin people are even scarier! Don't get me wrong... I really like them. I was particularly admiring the bases... I caught myself thinking "Man... Alan is never afraid of mixing stuff in the bases. I wonder how he puts the static grass. It is all sticking up, natural looking. Why my static grass is always limp?" Then I laughed loudly... my subconscious mind started to mock my conscious thoughts "HA! Your grass is always limp!"
Sometimes I think I'm my worse enemy.
Anyway... another masterful creation. The 1st Pumpkin Gang was 'scary-cute'. This one is just plain 'scary'! Thanks for sharing! | |

| Thanks, Mord...glad you like them. I agree that the new ones are scarier than the conversions; they lack the silly expressions that the Reaper Jack O'Lanterns have. The stand up grass is the cluster flock tufts. The ones I've been using are from The Army Painter; a couple other manufacturers have them at a lower cost, but T.A.P. stuff is the only type that is readily available around here. I'm experimenting with making my own; so far, the results are rather mixed. | |

| These latest models are scary! I really like the scarecrow. All are very creepy. One day you will have to play a game with this great set of models! | |

| Thanks, Narcissus. While getting in a game might not be a high probability thing, Captain John has taken a liking to the Malefaux stuff...so there is hope. Worse comes to worse I might start doing solo games again. | |

| For no particular reason I painted up this Reaper Giant I found lurking in one of the storage boxes. SO here's Gorgeous George & his sidekick, Patch: Himself: Patch: As always your comments & critiques are MOST WELCOME...mostly. | |

| Thanks, Amigo! Digging through the backlog of minis in The Vault of Pack Rattiness can sometime produce little treasure...sometimes not. In addition to things I've bought there are quite a few pieces left from commissions that never worked out; those add to the mystery. | |

| Thanks, mudboy! He's a Formorian(AD&D) Giant; they're noted for being deformed. Not only does he have three arms, they're all different sizes, he has a clubbed foot, & six fingers on his left hand...hows that for being a non-conformist? | |

| Thanks for the kind words, Amigo...glad you like him. Like most everything I've done for a lot of years, some pieces stay & some get sold or given away. I've never developed much of a collection or the instinct to start one. For moi, it's all about the creating. | |
