| ok I am going to do some themed squads I love Rogue Trooper so want to make a Rogue Trooper mini and make a Northern and Southern force. The southern will be Imperial Guard and the Norths will be the Imperial renegades. [with out mutations] any one got ideas on what figs to use. I don't want any of those old minis unless they are really good. So my challenge to you all is: what minis should I use. [also if the rogue Trooper is to be in the squad what would he be? an officer? the Captain? what?] Cheers LGW here is an image of Rogue Trooper. | |

| Great idea for a squad(s) - gotta love 200OAD!
I think he should be a special character of a very cool hired gun (that will give you the sense of him being 'rogue') with the squad made up of regular super soldiers. Or you could reanimate his dead colleagues to make up an officer unit (going back into his history).
I'd thought about creating a uit around Bad Company from the same comic - with Kano, Dany Franks and the rest.
Good Job! Laney | |

| or the ABC warriors.
that would be fun to make.
when we release the Adeptus Arbites I guess you could do a Judge Dreed theme for that.
you'd need to dig deep to find the correct minis though.
or be very creative in your conversions. I need to have a look at some AT-43 I swear there were some minis in that collection that would be great for the norths. [in fact I think Da Bank was using some for his Imperial guard squad]

| Not to stop you from converting your own, but you can get that Guy & some of his friends from the Foundry... VERY NICE minis they are. | |

| They do look very nice - but I reckon you could fashion something really unique out of a catachan command squad (or two) and some forgeworld elysians (for the nort/souther troops). If fact... I'm gutted you came up with this idea first! Cheers Laney | |

Cheers Laney dude you go for it I might be awhile before I can do this and I'd love to see how you make it. Cheers LGW how about this as a compensation for me doing the beastmen heads for the chaos squad first. you do the rogue trooper squad first.

| No, no, I think I'll leave this great idea for you to play with - besides, truescaling my marines (I'm working on 5 at the same time at the minute) is consuming me at the moment and then there's the backlog of other projects, not to mention (because it's a secret) my other evil plans. Though the ABC warriors is a bloomin' good idea too! Ta Laney | |

* ducks for cover* So you don't know anything about: Rogue Trooper Venus Bluegenes Judge Dredd Judge Anderson The Dark Judges [Judge Death, Judge Fear, Judge Mortis, Judeg Fire] ABC Warriors The 86ers Slaine Strontium Dog Wolf Sternhammer Shaun of the Dead Nemesis the Warlock Chopper [Skysurfer] Tank Girl Thrud the Barbarian How could you not. The above list are the ones I read as a kid. Dam I need to find out more about the 86ers. they are a rag tag bunch of Southern rejects that have to defend a minning operation from the Norts. Should be a great squad to make up. Will see what I can find out. Cheers LGW
