| Thanks, Mord! I've got to admit that the Little Guys with the squint were my least favorite of the Pumpkinheads. However, it's a face that grows on you in time; the one with the pistols looks like he's about to close his eyes prior to firing the pistols off. The one with the crossbow has a sneaky glint...someone had better watch their backs. | |

| @Deaf: It is indeed - that combination of dark blue and orange looks perfect for my chaos team, (with ice blue).

| NICE! The Swashbuckler is my favorite... but seeing them all together is very nice. The question is... WHEN are you going to play with them?!?! | |

| Thanks, Mord. While the Lads will be getting to see some action, I won't be the one leading them; they're already sold to SerialMom & will soon be on their way to Germany. | |

| Here's the latest developments at Heep's Place: The way up to the soon-to-be-built Tavern on the Rock: An overview of the piece: As always, comments, critiques, & envelopes filled with small, unmarked bills would be GREATLY appreciated.

| This is SO great! I invite everyone to check the pics from the BEGINNING of the thread... the early WiP. It is SO hard to believe that this was a bunch of blue and pink foam boards! All the pieces blend so well with each other!
I can't wait until we could see the place CRAWLING with goblins! Way to go Deaf!

| Thanks, Mord...I'm glad you like it so far. The black spot off to the left will have Heep's Tavern, a ramshackle, cobbled together structure or structures. The black spot off to the right may have Felstiff's Observatory. | |

| The Illustrious Guru of All Things Mushroom, Temerity O'Leery, & assistant, Obnoxious Buzz, have discovered a new species of Sentient Mushroom, Oscarius Mysillium. The gregarious nature of the Oscarius was noted when recording the image of one a group formed around the initial subject...the late Obnoxious Buss discovered their food preferences (providing his Master the opportunity for a quick escape). And the Evidence: Further study should provide the Gentle Reader with photos of The Beasties coloration. Comments & critiques ar once more solicited...more or less. | |

| Very nice. The bead eyes really make the sculpts. It gives a little uniformity and a focal point.
What tools do you use for sculpting? What materials do you sculpt with?

| Thanks Guys...your kind comments are appreciated. - Narcissus wrote:

I got a set of GF9 sculpting tools from a friend/patron awhile ago...I'm slowly figuring out what to do with them. For the basic shape I use plumber's epoxy (similar to Milliput), then I do the face & stem with G.S....the teeth are toothpicks, Mord. Somewhere in all the posts there's a step by step on making the faces/mushrooms...finding it might be quite a search though.

| This is the first of several islets that will form a Swamp Town. Another name I'm sure will replace it, but right now I think of it as Oozy Suzy's Place. Here's an overview: The front door with Suzy Herself: Around back: The Folks up on top: As always, your thoughts on the Beasty are most welcome...mostly.

| Thanks Mord! I'm not 100% sure what Suzy is; sort of a slug centaur. I suppose. Her Boy Friend is even more creepy. | |

| AND the latest addition to the Spooky Woods... The Bad Acid Rock: From a (safe) distance: Up close & whatever: As ever, your comments & critiques are MOST WELCOME.

| Thanks, Amigo...glad you like it. The Project is proving to be a LOT OF FUN...not knowing precisely where it's going adds to the excitement, at least for moi. It's good to see you back posting; you have been missed. | |

| As I slowly work on Heep's Place, I did a couple of denizens: When did you get so tall, Greta?: No more for you, Snorri!: & a couple more shots: Your kind comments & critiques are, as always, appreciated. | |
