| Thanks Gatlag! I enjoy the closeups also...it's the little things that hold my interest. I've added some streetlights of a sort & a restless inhabitant of the graveyard; photos will be along soon...I hope. | |

| As the sign says, there are a few more details some of which I photographed...well actually the Camera of Continual Contrariness made the photos...she said to say that. SO...Some Candles Around The Town: AND in The Tree: The Neighborhood Watch: The next thing to be added is some signs. In the interim feel free to offer your comments & critiques. | |

| A Lovely Couple moved into the Graveyard next door to the Shanty Town. Here a few photos of ASTOUNDING MEDIOCRITY of the new neighbors: The Couple: Himself & Herself will reappear once I straighten out the photos. Better photos will be forthcoming...hopefully. In the meantime, comments & critiques are as always most welcome...mostly. | |

| Haha, wow, I can't believe how just keep on churning out this stuff.
Do you even play on these tables? If so, what do you play?

Thanks, Arachas! I think it's a matter of an Old Man with an over active imagination & way too much time on my hands. - Arachas wrote:

Not yet. If all else fails, I'd like to start doing solo games again. I'd probably modify Mordheim or Chaos in Carpathia or something similar.

| Are we putting SMOKE on the candles now? They were amazing before... now they are plain AWESOME!
The undead look great too! DeafNala is a painting machine... practice makes perfect.

Thanks, Mort! I got the smoke idea from pics on one of the forums; it cuts down the size of the flame to something more believable. - Mordheimer wrote:

We're on opposite ends of the painting/modeling/hobby specturm; i.e., your life is SO full of family & work that you have little time for painting/modeling/hobby; whereas, I have just about nothing else going on...we both could stand a better balance.

| Mushrooms & Signs sound almost prophetic. Other than adding a couple of the last details to the Shanty Town the only omen is the start of a new board or two...possibly three. Be that as it may, here are a couple of now anticlimactic photos: The All Seeing Yenta Snoop's Place: The Drop of the Pure Tavern (purveyor of Holigan's Hooch): AND a personable Mushroom by the Downtown Shabby Arms: As details are added to the Isles & the Shanty Town further photos will be added. The Graveyard, Catacombs, & an old W.I.P. loom on the horizon...well they're sitting anxiously by/on my work table to be more accurate & less dramatic. Comments & critiques are, as always, most welcome. | |

| My little boy (5) was looking a the pics and the first thing he said was - cool, then - I'd like that, then (on seeing the vampire) - Dad, will you make me some undead? (he loves Scooby Doo).. Inspiring to the very young and us older guys too Deaf.

| Thanks for the reply, Laney & Son! My stuff does seem to appeal to a wide age group...my neighbor Tom's Grandson loves the horror minis also. AND the best part of being a male is that we aren't expected to ever completely grow up. | It's not The Restless Dead or the Dancing Dead for that matter...just moi. I just finished the crumbling retaining wall in the Graveyard. SO here are a few of W.I.P. photos: SO it's a underway...may I have an "OH BABY"?! Your comments & critiques would brighten my day...which speaks worlds as to my social life. | |

| That wall looks promising! Well in tabletop terms... because an actual crumbling wall would be bad but you get my drift. | |

| Thanks, Gatlag! My old place in Sound Beach had retaining walls; they look fine when they're new, but are a bitch to maintain. Working with them in this scale is a helluva lot easier...glad you like it so far! | |

| While I'm waiting for the Green Stuff to dry, I though posting a couple of progress photos might be in order to maintain interest...whose interest is another matter. I've been doing up a couple of Mausoleums. Initially I was thinking of adding a Mordheim Gargoyle from G.W.; after a moment of thought, I decided to do my own...the plastic part was just too twinky. So here's how the board looks so far: AND a look at the Green Stuffing (the Fellow to the right is Seedy Jon Apfel, Serial Killer & Man About Town): Seedy Jon is a combination of G.W.Empire Militia & Zombie parts wit a Lead Adventure Mini head. His kill signature is a discarded apple core or two. As always I would be delighted to hear your comments & critiques...for the most part. | |

| Nice! Is this the place the dead mushrooms go to? I like the gargoyle, grotesque as it should be! What does the text beneath it say? Can't seem to read it | |

| Thanks, Gatlag. Where Mushrooms go has been the subject of many a philosophic debate. The Mushrooms, themselves, are hoping for Rio. Bayone, New Jersey has long been established as the final destination of Bad Mushrooms...what constitutes "Bad" for a Mushroom is another matter. The scroll says "Caveat" As in caveat emptor: let the buyer beware. In this case who should beware is left to the imagination. | |

| I managed to finish the sculpt & prime of the second Face-Above-The-Crypt-Door. SO without further ado here are some photos of dubious quality of the second mausoleum: As always your kind comments & critiques would be most welcome...mostly. | |

| AND NOW the first painted piece for the Graveyard, Marley's Crypt: The long view: Zooming in... AND inside a trap door & could that be an apple core?: As is my habit, your comments & critiques are once more requested. | |

| Thanks. Mord...glad you like the stuff. Speaking of "small things", the apple cores are becoming quite a hit. I had to take a separate photo for a guy over on L.A.M.: ...teeny, but cool, eh?! | |
