| When I moved from Long Island to Texas way back in the Miserable Winter of 2010, I took along a few W.I.P. pieces. This one was supposed to be an extension to the Mordheim boards I had made for erstwhile friend Mack. It's been gathering a thick layer of dust ever since: While I was working on Dr. J's Sci-Fi terrain I kept staring at this board...staring at things is one of those things that Old Men do. I started picturing it as a Froudian/floedebollesque Goblin style Mordheim Slum. SO I added a few more foundations, changed the heights of a few of the existing foundations, finished carving the cobblestones/pavers, added the sewer grates, & did my white on black primer coat: SO this will be another aspect of my ongoing Project. Which part gets more attention God only knows...& He won't spill the beans. Be that as it may, your comments, as always, would be most welcome. | |

| To give you, my Fellow Forum Folk, a better idea what's happening in the Slums/Ghetto here's a quick tour of the 'hood (remember these are the foundations; there will be twisted, rickety, floor on top): The long view: ...my steam punk door: ...adjoining stairs: ...going up: ...to the walkway/bridge: ...wandering the streets: ...we come to the other side of the walkway/bridge: There now, you have a better idea what the place is like. Comments, as always, would be lovely. | |

| I had a request for a How-To post from a Fellow on the Reaper Forum, SO, having given my word, here is a quick face run through...the face is supposed to look a bit like Puck from A Midsummer Night's Dream: First I drilled two shallow holes above the door, painted the holes black to protect the foam, &, once dry, glued in two beads for eye...they're looking down: I then added a cone of Green Stuff between the eyes for the eyelids, nose, upper lip, & teeth: next a ball of Green Stuff for the chin & lower lip: then two balls for the cheeks & the outer edges of the eye sockets: a couple of cones for the pointy ears & sideburns, a ball flanked by two cones for some spike hair: AND voila; done: A couple of shots to show how he looks in his present surroundings: There you go; now you can add little touches to creep out your friends & loved ones...or not. | |

| I took a photo of one of the buildings from my W.I.P. Smugglers' Board that accidentally fit into one of the foundation. This is only to give an idea how the board will be going; there are a couple of points on it that don't match up. That aside, a taste of the future: ...now picture all the foundations with a rickety building of similar size; AND you'll have a idea where this is going.

| Looks like the notification system failed me again to inform me about new posts... Good thing I was thinking "Deaf couldn't have stopped his eternal project, so just have a looky to be sure". And here I am again to withness the awesomeness! Great board, really like it. And those small details like that steampunk door, sweet stuff I say! | |

| Thanks, Gatlag! I'm delighted you like the stuff...I'm getting enthusiastic about the possibilities myself. I'm finding that the Google Forums are getting a bit spotty with the auto-notifications also; I get informed after I've already responded. C'est la vie, eh?! | |

| SO now while The Camera is being relatively cooperative, The Light of Ott is falling apart. That aside, I will slowly put up another Tour of the Blight...this time in living color & guided by a few of Fast Flo's numerous nieces. A long shot: Evil Iris & Lily by H Putter's (under the stairs) place: Lucy & Lusty Lulu further down the street: I'll continue The Tour as I manage to get pics taken. In the interim, your kind comments would be most welcome. | |

| With the Holiday Weekend gone, my AT&T link to the Internet seems to be back to normal such as that is. AND, that means more mediocre photos of The Blight to entertain, edify, or whatever. SO...without further ado: Evil Iris & Lili by Gaseous George's Place: ...& around the corner: ...Lucy & Lusty Lulu by the Alley: ...Lily at the other side of the Alley: ...the Bridge Street: ...Tower door: ...& other points of interest(?): Since the photos were taken, I've started doing a gloss finish on the slimy green sections of the street, got some mushrooms ready for planting, & such silliness. As thing develop, I'll add further awful photographic evidence to brighten your day. Until then, your comments would be appreciated. | |

| SO the Wanted posters are all painted up. All I need is to find a spot to hang them...the posters that is: Comments are welcome as always! Addendum: Just the spots for the Rogues... ...on the Tower ...& across the way from Gaseous George & Associates: Meanwhile Dark Events are unfolding in The Graveyard. A figure bearing a remarkable resemblance to the long dead St. Lascivious is seen lurking by The Saint's Statue. Could it be?: ...it is He returned from the grave: Dozens of dead pigeons were found encircling The Statue the next day. | |

| Another Poster of Yet Another Doer of Dark Deeds has been duly hung & haunted. I give you, figuratively speaking, Mad Mae, the notorious Witch: ... AND on the/her Wall: The idea for the female poster came from CatDancer on the Reaper Forum...giving credit where it's due. Comments, as always, would be most welcome. | |

| Thanks, Gatlag. Well, the Old Girl may have a charm all her own but mostly she's scary as Hell. When it was suggested I do a female to go with the other Wanted Posters, I knew cute & pretty weren't in the mix. I'm glad you like her! | |

| Flying in over the second story construction: There seems to be something strange going on at the end of the block: ... very strange: A view of the Beasty prior to mounting him/her/whatever by the window: SO things are coming along. Feel free to comment on the developements...or break an Old Man's heart. | |

| Second story construction? Wow! That means this great board will be even more impressive! Very curious to the progress! And it sure looks like someone needs to clean out his basement! | |

| Thanks again, Gatlag. This part of Town does seem to have more of a vermin problem than is normal & it's abnormal in more than just numbers. The upper stories will or should be quite tall. I put this photo up of building from another board that fit, but this is about how each of the foundations will eventually look: ...now THAT'S scary! | |

| Thanks again, Gatlag. I'm going to try for that height throughout the board with walkways between the buildings & some scaffolding it should provide some proper swashbuckling encounters. | |

| AND COMING SOON TO INFEST A NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR YOU... it isn't much of an up date, but you take what you can get. The Witchroom may see additional variations...or not. | |
