| Two more completed & seven plus to go...for the Foot Fellows that is. AND here they are: ...with the War Band thus far: The last of the Halberd Guys & the Captain will be pushing toward completion today. Have you noticed everything takes longer than you would have imaged? C'est la vie, eh?! | |

| Thanks AND a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Gatlag! Since I took the pictures of Froggimodo, I added a face to his abdominal armor: ...& he's now got albino skin coloration. Chugging along! | |

| Thanks, Gatlag. The face is a subconscious Labyrinth Door Knocker thing. I'm going to do it in either steel/gunmetal or bronze with glowing non metallic eyes. | |

| SO...in a rare focused spell, I managed to finish the Mercenary Engineer/Crossbowdwarf AND Froggimodo. AND HERE THEY ARE FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT & EDIFICATION: The Dwarf: The Frog: Dwarf & Frog Together Again For The First Time: There you have it. Once more your kind comments & suggestions of a non-sexual nature would be most welcome...mostly. | |

| Thanks, Gatlag...Mutant Frogs tend to be snappy dressers and/or Crazy Old Men love garish colors. In either or both cases I'm glad you like them. | |

| The Sharpshooter has joined the Crew. AND without further ado HERE HE IS: There you go. With only two more to finish not including the Halfling Morale Officer & his Marching Band, there is an excellent chance the Mercenary Dwaven Rogues will be done over the weekend. OH BABY! | |

| Thanks, Gatlag. I was excited to get the Old Harlequins. I had done some for Cap'n John long years ago. I rediscovered them when I did the repair job on his collection after the display case implosion. I just posted some pictures of them on Tom's; you can check them out toward the bottom of this thread: http://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t8085-the-resurrection-of-cap-n-johns-case-updated-03-10-15 While I was at it I updated the thread here: http://www.deathsquadsgame.com/t3395-the-resurrection-of-cap-n-johns-case-updated-03-10-15#39568 | |

| SO not an overwhelming update, but one does one's best. I will eventually have thorny vines encircling Rapunzel's Tower for the unwary to ascend to their dooms... insert sinister laughter & perhaps a clap of thunder here. Now just a plain old gigantic thorny vine wouldn't do; ERGO I made some Flower Folk for The Vine: ...there you go. As always your kind comments would be most welcome...mostly. | |

| Thanks, Gatlag. I painted the flowers with watered down Tacky Glue. Then I did the same green stuff sculpts as I did with the Mushrooms, but without the beads for eyes. The green stuff adhered nicely to the yellow button thing in the center of the flowers. I'm going to do a sculpting tutorial on the Mushrooms for another forum; I'll post it here as well when I do. | |

| Ok, and the leaves of those flowers are cloth? | |

| The petals are cloth; the watered down glue coat was to stiffen them up for painting. The stems & other leaves are soft plastic; I twisted thin floral wire around them for painting & to suggest tendrils...the projections that let ivy cling to walls & such. I'll use twisted floral wire for the main stalk/stem of the vine. | |

| I knew what you meant, Gatlag...I kept key in "pedals" for the petals. I've been trying to picture them in color myself. I'm leaning toward red petals & a yellow skin tone for the faces. | |
