What always inspires me the most about you, DN, is that you're thrice as old as the average player here and are STILL kicking ass and taking names. It's my goal in life to remain as flexible and playful of mind as you are.

Thanks, Arachas; that is probably the nicest thing anyone's ever told moi. At moments like this Old Men are supposed to come up with some profound statement entailing a glimpse into the Meaning Of Life. Fortunately I haven't developed a "profound" outlook on life...absurd, yes; profound, no. I decided some time ago that becoming a Crazy Old Man & "making a joyful sound was the way to happiness. I'm delighted you've chosen the same path...it's always pleasant having company on a journey.

Thanks, Komfritten. The floedebolle part of The Floedebolle Tree is just giving credit to one of the Guy's on Tom's Boring Mordheim Forum who inspired the Beasty; his Forum I.D. is floedebolle...I love background stories.

To get an idea how everything was working [& getting along ] together I took a couple of group shots of the Woods:
It seems the local Goblins have decided to relocate:
...might be heading to Eidelhans...the Devil's Workshop:
...or Bargenrheitz:
THE most most likely reason for the relocation:
Comments & critique are as always most welcome.

To prepare you for the finished silliness, here are some TRULY MEDIOCRE photos of the W.I.P. on The Amazing Magical Circle of Continuous Chatter, aka Stoned Hedge:
The Overview:
Individual Shots:
The above one is approaching completion; the ones below are merely primed:
As always comments, critiques, adulation, & barely veiled threats are MOST WELCOME...mostly.

Labyrinth may very well be the prime motivator/inspiration for my stuff. The Talking Stones & The Door Knockers have been mentioned AND one of the Mushrooms looks a lot like Hoggle. PLUS I did a trade deal with drakkol...he's sculpting a David Bowie Jareth The Goblin King for the project. Cool, eh!?

Now for some of the Folk that will inhabit The Spooky Forest & surrounding areas:
The staff at FAST FLO'S:
Fast Flo Herself flanked by Rowdy Rosie & Prissy:
A better view of Prissy; she's one of my friend Fabio's original sculpts:
Gertie, Otto Lukh, & Greta (Reaper):
Roxy, Hairy Harry, & Easy Ildy:
A few of Flo's numerous Nieces (Bronze Age): Lily & Lusty Lulu:
Evil Iris, & Lucy:
Comments, critiques, & offers I can't refuse are, as always MOST APPRECIATED...especially the latter.

Deaf - it's the texture of the cloth that really strikes me (in Otto Lukh's pic) - it has great depth to it. Ace paintwork.

there is so much to take in the the fabric, skin, hell Flo's spectacles.
though taken from a varied range of mini producers you've been able to blend them together with your masterful paint work....
only thing I see and not sure if its my screen is really dirty or your camera lens is but flows blue dress has grit particles on it.
got to love those spectacles...wow

I missed the paint among all that cleavage! HAHAH! On my 2nd look... awesome work. What gets me is the LETTERING. Damn it, Deaf... you make it look so easy! I write small, but I can't do THAT!
My favs are Otto Lukh (the apron is ACE!) and Easy Ildy (explanations not needed... awesome sculpt and even better paint... naught Deaf!)
Since you are in the photograph mode (btw, AMAZING pics man! WOW!!!!) ... group shot?
Thanks for sharing your art. Well, I'm off... to drool over Laney's work. He posted NEW PICS!

Thanks for all the positive feedback, Guys! LGW: I checked the mini & the camera; the grit was dust on the camera's lens. Being in Texas during a drought makes dust a real problem.

AND on that note some PIRATE BABES:
Dulcinea De Bimbo, Make My Day May, & Big Bang Dearie
Deadly Daisy, & Bold Jenny
...joined by Wicked Wanda
Chelsea, Fan Flame, & Curly
Mad Meg
Monkey Liz, & Lorna Boom
The Spritzer Sisters: Spider, & Dee:
Well she isn't a Pirate but she fills the Babe category nicely:
AND a Foxy Lady, Red Rita:
A LARGE Foxy Lady, Typhoid Mariah:
Comments & critiques are WILDLY APPRECIATED.
