| Thanks, Gatlag. I think the Gang looks pretty good altogether...Group Portraits are may favorite photos. Froggy was partial made by my friend, Ben aka floedebolle. I finished the sculpt & painted him. He is a cool not-so-little Freak. Ben made a different version for himself; I'll see if I can steal a photo. Addendum: Got him. Ben had the mini painted for him by Simon Bradley: ...cool, eh? | |

| I understand that Simon gets a pretty penny for his paint jobs, but Ben seems to like his work enough to part with his bucks/euros/pounds sterling. | |

| I've used Scotia Grendel's Goblin's Gate in the background of innumerable photos...I'm not very good at counting among other things...& never took a photo of the piece by itself UNTIL NOW. I think it looks more like a Vampire's Gate SO I added the Vampire Mouse Familiar from Reaper: ...a view through the door: AND The Goblin Village as it is now: I finished the cobbles simply to have a spot for the photos of the Gate...I'll skip the senility observation...this time. | |

| I've been thinking of adding to The Spooky Woods. SO I'm experimenting with DAS, air dry clay, for the bark. You might say this DAS Tree: ...there you go. That, by the way, is the natural color of the clay...no paint yet. | |

| I had this Pointy Eared Dandy sitting in his blister for a LONG time. The blister finally parted ways with the card backing & the separate arm disappeared into that part of the Ethereal Plane normally reserved for missing socks...not pairs of socks mind, but only singles. WELL I couldn't have that; SO I ordered just the missing arm &, once it arrived, I assembled, based, & primed the Adventuring, Now With All Pieces Represented Elf. He then sat for another prolonged session in Limbo until the recent spurt of energy motivated me to finish him. NOW without further ado, The Elf About Town: ...untrustworthy looking at best, but there you have him. | |

| SO, with all the monochromatic talk, I decided to make a couple of mono/gray scale pieces. The first will be a cavern piece. While it would work nicely with Heep's Place or possibly an extension of Rapunzel's board, it will undoubtedly get the most service as a photo stage. I'm in the carving/gluing stage right now: It's clicking right along as quickly as my putter & tweak approach to terrain building can go...there's already anther piece atop the back wall. I'm hoping the Goblins I have underway will finish about the same time as Grayscale Cavern. | |

| b]AND[/b] an update: the monochrome is largely completed barring some touching up; some details have been included with more planned. This how it looks thus far: ...some glowing moss/fungus: ...The Pit: ...some creepiness: ...up close: ...more creepiness: ...up close: ...there you go. The next step will be adding some more details in mono & color. The eyes willl probably get some color to them as well. | |

| SO for some Sin City contrast, I added spots of color. The Glowing Mold: ...The Eye: ... AND The Eyes: There will be more spots of glorious color details, but this is where we stand thus far. | |

| I just finished the first of my removable details; i.e., The Eye in The Pit: ...by itself: ...in The Pit: ...pretty creepy, eh? With the possible addition of tentecles, the creepiness may become more pronounced. | |

| I finished five of the sly Goblin faces & all the metalwork... ...before a new distraction took hold: i.e., a couple of Faeries: ...one airhead making a rather unfortunate landing/fly-by; & a blood thirsty one with a NASTY pair of shears. AND later the same day, the Faerie Fiend is now based & posing with the latest of her victims: ...the victim: ...the two Faeries: | |

| SO I made some small progress with the PathFinder Goblins...finished faces/flesh tones & torches: Then one of the Folk on Reaper's Forum posted Racquel Blackrose; AND I had to find the one I had lurking in The Vault to base & prime: ...while I was at it & in the throes of Pirate mania, I figured I might as well organize the unpainte Pirates I had kicking around...maybe get a couple ready to paint: I still have a few more Living Impaired Swashbucklers to base...when the bases arrive from Reaper...I ran out. SO a new distraction. AAAARRRGGH! | |
