| Da Bank-The veer-myn are hard plastic on sprues. I think they look very interesting. I would like to build a squad of them but I definitely have enough other projects on the go! | |

| I worked out I could do a squad of the German Gobbos for £30.00
1x commander 2x NCO 1x battle standard carrier 1x Gobbo medic 2x LMG Gunner 2x LMG Ammo carrier 2x Rifle firing 4x gobbo walking rifle
that give me 15 gobbos, the standard bearer and medic will be officers and NCO's LMG will be special weapons, it could be a sweet army and if you have the Halfling versions could be a FUN game.... Dam I am talking myself into buying them AARRGGHHHHHH!!!!!
LGW

| Forgive the necro and multi-quote. - Lazi wrote:
- You are right. Proportions of Corporations soldiers are a little weird. It doesn't matter when it comes to alies but humas should have the right size and proportion, otherwise people will notice. I actually had the same feeling about their elves... They have many interesting ideas (both corporation and elves) but the sculpt is killing it. Corporation models look a little bit stiff and their legs are too thing and too short, I think. But it's still an interesting alternative to GW models - especially price-wise.
I think the issue is less the proportions on the Mantic models, but that we've gotten used to GW's 'Heroic' (grossly deformed) scale. The Corporation models are much, much closer to human proportion. Forgive the hideous paint: - Narcissus wrote:

Resin/plastic mix without sprues. Super glue needed, unfortunately. | |

| Useful info s4dfish - thanks!
No such thing as a necro on this forum - so don't worry about that - if you have something good to share then do!

| WOW! I can almost hear the Astartes and the Cadian saying at the same time... "Does this guy makes me look fat and deformed?" HA! Great pic... I can finally see the difference. Thanks for ruining it for me... now I don't like Cadians anymore. AGGGHHH!!! On a 'moderation' note... we do NOT believe in thread necromancy. It IS very OK to post something that has not been active for months or YEARS. Why? Because it is not your fault that you just found now. If you have any comments, suggestions, critiques, samples, jokes or even (I dare to say...) non-intelligent comment about ANY thread... PLEASE feel free to post! Great players and hobbyists (like yourself) are just joining us... and we could use YOUR opinion in matters discussed. | |
