| Nice ships! Are you using them for something specific? Or built them just for fun? I see you've used coffeesticks, good idea! Also probably a lot cheaper than those strips of balsa. | |

| Thanks for the kind comments, Gatlag. For awhile it looked like they were going to see some Mordheim style action...then I moved. They'll probably end up as part of the Swamp Islets. | |

| I just love how you are still going full force. You have been since I joined this forum.
An inspiration! I really hope I'm still painting models at 65 - no offence meant, of course, but a compliment!

| Thanks, Arachas! There was a stretch that lasted about two months back when I was 39 or so when I wasn't doing any of this sort of thing, but other than that I've been caught up in this stuff since I was 15...sometime this January it will be 50 years. | |

| Looks good. I like the pirate ships too. Your table would make for some fantastic games! | |

| Cool boats (n the words sloops?) there Deaf!
The little doors to wherever in the rock are intriguing too. How did you do the kind of rock 'growths' on your Isle (nice pancreas reference by the way!)?

| Thanks, Laney...glad you liked the stuff! I was wondering is anyone would recognize the name of the Isles. As to the rocks, I just carve the foam & rough them up with one of my saws; I think it was the keyhole one this time. | |

Well...this isn't exactly what you were asking/hoping for, but I thought it might be fun to see what was ready for The Table...or not. The Closet Creatures: The Beasties on the Workbench: AND The Mounting Mushroom Menace from HELL!: There now wasn't that fun...kind of?

| It gets worse, Gatlag. I have two more in the works that have feet, arms & attitudes. This may be a sign of The End Times, Mayan or otherwise...or it could mean that I should get out of the house more often. At any rate, thanks for commenting. | |

| Thanks, Gatlag, both for the compliment & the observation. Being a Crazy Old Man has been my life's ambition; it's good to know I achieved my goal. I was surprised at the great responses the group photos received. I'll have to do this more often. | |

| So much cool stuff!
Can't ever have enough Mushrooms! My favourites are the one-eyed gents in the front on the box!
Keep it coming, I might even feel motivated myself.

| Thanks kindly for the kind comments, Laney. The highest compliment I could get is to have inspired/motivated some one with my work...so get cracking . | |

| The latest step in Mushroom Evolution brought to mind brought to mind an image of Grant Wood's American Gothic...my deepest apologies to Mr. Wood. For those unfamiliar with the paintiing: AND the Mushrooms: W.I.P: Painted: How the Lads(?) will be based is still undecided, but in the meanwhile your kind commentary is once more solicited. | |

That is a GREAT IDEA! I normally think of the Goblins kidnapping the local human wenches for their amorous adventures, but the combo of Goblin Babe & Fish might be too good to pass on. Glad to see you're still with us, Amigo! I noticed a lack of enthusiasm when you're not around.

| I've been fortunate in receiving a few of our own drakkol's WONDROUS Creations to paint up. The first two are a group imagineered by Mordheimer & drakkol: "Meet the Real Emperor". It's supposed to be a Carnival Show piece. Those paying admission come to a tragic & rather messy end. I've been trying to figure out how I'm going to do this for quite a long time now...suggestions are welcome. Here are the pieces: The Barker & The Emperor: The Emperor: The Barker: AND a cute/cool little Worm Guy on his shelf fungus: Are they OH-SO-COOL or what? | |
