| Thanks Gatlag! I think drakkol is a VERY TALENTED sculptor/converter. The Emperor Squig & the Barker will probably be part of the West Wind Horror Circus Gang I picked up awhile ago...or not. | |

They'll be done before The Worm; I won't wait for a definite setting for them...that was the big holdup on them. Hopefully as I paint them some locale/theme will pop up....hopefully. The next post will be the Stoned Hedge Isle. I should have it done by Monday, & will post some photos then...hopefully again.

| Ace looking work Deaf - makes me feel even worse that I haven't picked up a brush in anger in far too long! I like the way you manage to make a dark and foreboding forest so bright! Laney | |

| Thanks, Laney! Glad you like the stuff...maybe it will get you motivated again...maybe. From the feedback I've received, it seems that going wit vibrant colors adds to the spooky, surrealistic atmosphere of the place. | |

| While this may stain my reputation of being a slothful ne'er-do-well, an impression I've cultivated over the years, I finished the second of the Mushroom Men. AND here's the proof: The Group Portrait: ONCE MORE your kind commentary is requested. | |

| Yet another variety of Mushroom has been discovered in the Darkest recesses of the Isles of Langerhans. A strange creature whose principle features an array of mouths & eyes. Dubbed the Madness Mushroom or the Creature of Continuous Cacophony; re, when two or more of the Creatures are found together, they begin to harmonize with each mouth singing a different song in a different key...for hours on end. AND the evidence (W.I.P.): Your comments, critiques, suggestions, & offers of untold wealth would be greatly appreciated...especially the "untold wealth" part. | |

| Thanks for the kind comments, Amigo! I draw heavily on all the positive feedback for my motivation...the rest comes from a rather non-existent social life. I have a Group Shot up on the previous page, down toward the bottom: http://www.deathsquadsgame.com/t1305p390-plodding-along-on-the-gaming-table-updated-12-29-12 With the next Isle completed another overview will appear. This time I hope to have some walkways included...hopefully. | |

| Thanks, Narcissus; glad you like them. I was struck by how much the Guys looked like Jim Henson creations; this is a plus. | |

| Getting carried away with things seem to be a character flaw or trait with moi. SO the Mushrooms Four are now The Mycelian Seven; I can almost hear One Eyed Jacks, the theme song from The Magnificent Seven, playing in the background...hearing things is another trait of mine. That aside, HERE THEY ARE: I think the first Guy looks like he's playing the Air Guitar: AND the Group Shot: Start the New Year off right & leave a comment...or break an Old Man's heart & lurk. | |

| Thanks, mudboy...glad you like the stuff AND took the time to say so! Commenting on other Folk's pieces here on D,S. is one of those things I hope to do more this year. - mudboy wrote:

The answer is "yes". Well to be more precise. I make a form out of Plumber's Epoxy Putty, which is very similar to Milliput. Then I add beads for the eyes & fangs from toothpicks if necessary. The final sculpt is done with Green Stuff.

| I love them! Just one thing... Is seven enough? What about more heroic number? Say 300? Anyway, looking forward to see them painted (and hopefully I'll add some sculpts of my own slightly inspired by your creations ) | |

| Thanks MUCHO for the kind words, Guys! I love getting feedback; it's highly motivating...of course that means this is all your fault. - Lazi wrote:

Anyway, looking forward to see them painted (and hopefully I'll add some sculpts of my own slightly inspired by your creations ) The only upward limit on these particular Guys(?) is the number of Ghoul arms I have on hand. I got some Vampire stuff from an erstwhile friend awhile ago, SO, unless I plunk down some bucks for more Ghouls, production stops when I run out of parts. ... HOWEVER, there are some other useful parts in the the mix, & there are never enough Mushrooms...right? At any rate, I'm looking forward to what you come up with using my horrors as a base. We could wind up going back & forth with ideas...at least until they come & take us away.

| Nice touch with the eye kind of sliding around the corner.
I think the tree could use a bit more colour, it seems a little dull.
