| Thanks, Narcissus! The more assertive Trees seem to be popular...especially with the Folks that enjoy creepy stuff. | |

| As promised, or threatened if you prefer, I have the first photos of a Group of Hunters braving the Perils of the Spooky Woods...it really should have a proper name...like Spooky Woods in German...names in German seems to sound ominous for some reason or other. Zooming in on The Hunters entering The Woods: Bringing up the rear has dangers of its own: Last seen leaving The Road: I think that The Woods may prove to be a major source of entertainment...at least for moi. That aside, your kind comments would be most welcome..or you can break an Old Man's heart.

| Der Dunkle wald Der Unheimliche Wald Der Gruseligen Wald A few simple examples to prove you're right: in German it sounds scary as hell! | |

| Thanks, Gatlag! I'm hope I don't offend too many Guys with the sinister sounding German remark. I once asked for a translation of Fluffy; in German, it sounded like a fine name for a Hell Hound. | |

| Haha I don't think someone is offended by that do you? My friends and me used the "german naming" trick for our Mordheim characters as well so we had "Karel Kindertoter", "Otto von Kopschuß" and "Die Unterhunden" for my Witch hunters dogpack. | |

| YET ANOTHER INSTANCE of the Great Minds Thingy: I also name my Mordheim Characters with German sounding &, when possible, actual German expressions. One particularly rotund Hero was named Otto Von Kummerspeck. Kummerspeck refers to weight gained from emotional distress; the literal translation is "grief bacon". German is a wonderful language. | |

Thanks, Gatlag. Feel free to use it if you like it; re, there are a lot of Kummerspecks in the World. | |

| For The O'Leary Project or rather my friend, Anne O'Leary's Diorama, a new & hitherto unclassified Mushroom has been discovered...well fabricated out of Green Stuff & stuff is you want to get picky. SO without further ado, the sentient Mycoleria: AND some Sentient Toadstools that claim to be part of The Project: As always your kind commentary is requested...kind of. | |

| Thanks, Gatlag...glad you like the stuff. The WoD aka Rackham Orc needs a better photo; he's eyes don't show up well in this one. AND I actually did want the Babes in a twilight sort of setting; surprisingly enough that's how it turned out. | |

| For a somewhat better look at the various Hooligans of both genders & varied species: The Big Guy: Sam The Sham(an): The Hooligan Sisterhood: AND a WONDERFUL gift mini from aggro84 (thanks again, Amigo), Chicken Girl: I often mention my Camera of Continual Contrariness. Well without changing the lighting or moving The Camera, you will notice a sudden brightening of the photos during the Babe shots... STRANGER THAN TRUE!That aside, your kind comments would once more be appreciated...I need the motivation.

| Some intriguing little red dudes there. I like the little fungal growths on chicken girls base too. Any chance of stretching your camera skills and doing some big group shots? Laney | |

| Thanks, Laney. The Camera must hate Chicks. The Girls, particularly the eyes just don't look at all like they do I real life. I will, however, give the Group Shots a try...larger numbers seem to work well with both The Camera & my limited ability using it. | |

| Two new Denizens of the Spooky Woods have shown up...they'll be photographed in the Woods once their associates are painted. The first is a West Wind's Goblin (he's about the size of a G.W. Orc). My amigo Mason's Lunatic was the inspiration to the piece... Who goes there?: AND the first Faerie spotted this season is the rare Pat-Benatar Grig: I feel I've reached new heights of mediocrity with these photos. That aside, your kind comments are as always requested. | |

| Thanks, mudboy...glad you like her! I have a second version of her underway...a lefty with a different hair style & antennae. The Faeries by the way are from Reaper's War Lord minis. | |

| My recent splurge on Insulation Foam Squares has created a Motivated Monster. One of the ideas is finally mounting up the Isles of Langerhans on a single board with an eventual extension for the Smugglers' Ships. This is the present arrangement of the Isles: There will be connecting walkways at various levels, shiny water spots, marsh grass, & the occasional tentacle. As always comments are most welcome...for the most part. | |
