| Hey!
I came across this zombie back and became a backer on Kickstarter. The game comes out in October and there are going to be some cool miniatures in the game that could be used for death squads or play the game with. Check it out.

| LOL I thought your original post was about Zombicide and only just checked to see its Zpocalypse...
I chose to back Zombicide rather then the Zpocalypse.
I will add to my original pledge, but trying to figure out how to add to do this.

| I got the extra two survivors Marvin and Eva and I should get the Zombie versions of both [well at least Eva as I'll get Marvin Zombie free when they hit $240kUSD.]
Currently they are at: $227kUSD with 5 days to go...
Not sure I'll get the extra tiles or not. will wait and see what the next 5 days bring.

| I am disappointed with their last two stretch goals $290,000 and $340,000.
I believe those are unreachable based on current trend. Either way, I am still going to back them for $100 and will get Eva, Marvin and like you thinking about those tiles..
I will be using the models for other games also.

Yesterday the made 22k and now have 1,939 backers.
we won't get to the last stretch, then again who wants a Zombie Chuck I don't.
I am looking forward to this and the expansion pack that is going to come out next year.
its going to be Great but the main thing for me is its has SOLO rules.... I can me Norman no mates and play Zombies by myself.

LANEY step 1: choose the level you wish to back. [Go for the Abomination level $100USD] - Quote :
- GAME CONTENTS
71 miniatures (28mm "Heroic" scale): 6 Survivors, 40 Walkers, 16 Runners, 8 Fatties and 1 Abomination 110 mini-cards (42 Zombie cards, 62 Equipment cards, 6 Wounded cards) 9 gaming tiles 6 dice 6 Survivor Identity Cards 24 advancement counters 4 Cars tokens (police car and pimp mobile) 18 Noise tokens 10 Objective tokens 12 Door tokens 6 Zombie spawn tokens 1 "First player" token 1 Exit point token
plus the following:
3 Promo Survivors and their Zombie counterparts: 6 miniatures [Lieutenant Nicholas Walker aka Bruce Willis, El Cholo Zombie Hunter aka that mexican guy who always plays a bad guy eg Dust till Dawn, Dave the Geek aka Sheldon from Big bang Theory, Now each of these have a Zombie version. 4 additional Fatties - 4 miniatures 6 additional Runners - 6 miniatures 20 additional Walkers - 20 miniatures 1 additional Abomination - 1 miniature 6 custom black dice 6 glow in the dark dice 1 T-shirt then add what other bits you want to the above lot of goodies. Remember the above section is what you get in the $100 Abomination level. - Quote :
- Extras:
Marvin Redfield aka Samuel L Jackson from his Pulp Fiction days, + Zombie Version $10USD Eva Duran aka Urma Thurman and each of these has a Zombie version. + Zombie Version $10USD 6x White Engraved Dice Comes with Abomination level but you can buy more. $10USD 6x Glow in the dark dice Comes with Abomination level but you can buy more $15USD 2nd set of Tiles 9 in total $20USD NEW! 2x Foam tray inserts [Free with Paint the town Red Level] but if you got Abomination level or higher $40USD then we have these goals: Current Stretch Marks [hehehehe] $290k [USD] "Eagle" Chaz aka Chuck Norris FREE Abomination level and Higher $340k [USD] Zombie "Eagle" Chaz aka Chuck Norris FREE Abomination level and Higher Postage: U.S: FREEInternational: $25USD NB:Foam trays and extra boxes of the game cost a further $15USD per game/set of foam[/quote]. thats what you get anything under Abomination level you mainly get some basic stuff maybe a promo fig its not until you get to the $75 level you get a copy of the game. As far as I have heard the extra Survivors are for the Kickstart release ONLY and will not be sold after the funding has been done. I guess it comes down to you paying $89USD RRP on release date or from your local LGS or $100+ [depending on what extras and postage you need to add] from Kickstart. You need to remember that they do show you the game so you can sort of feel like your not throwing your money into just a concept it has actually been made. The extra figs have been sculpted with the exceptions of Marvin and Eva and the "Eagle" as we have only seen concept drawings of these whilst the other three we have seen the figs. For me its a no brainier I want this GAME!!!! not just for the figs but due to its SOLO aspect the figs rock and I want to play as either Sheldon or the Cop from Walking Dead. With a planed expansion coming out as well this game will have replay value, you also get a scenario pdf with the Abomination pack and a Scenario editor so you can make them up for yourself and your friends. hope this helps you only have 3 more days to go. as I am writing this thread we only need another $200USD to get the "Eagle" Chaz another FREE mini. now its along slow road to the Zombie version can we make it to $340k who knows time will tell..... I am still tempted to get the pack of extra tiles.... still thinking about it.... ALOT!!! All you do Laney is click on the button to back this project it will ask you how much you want to pay: eg Abomination Level $100USD Eva Duran $10USD Marvin Redfield $10USD extra Tiles $20USD U.S p&p FREE Total: $140USD International $140USD+$25USDp&p= $165USD. Cheers LGW Zombicide Backer EDIT: just checked we have hit $290k so all of those who have Abomination level now get "Eagle" Chaz for FREE even those who join up to or with in the next three days.

| What LGW said.
You give them money, I am doing $100, and you get the game plus extras that others will not get. The game alone is $89 but for $100 you get double the models.
This allows the game companies to raise money and advertise at the same time.
From a gamer it is nice as you can get some cool items before others and you can help out with play testing and etc.
The other zombie I backed has us reading rules, making scenarios and etc. thus you can help shape the game.

yup the game is for 1-6 players: group game each person chooses one of the 12 survivors to play [max of 6 to be used though I'd like to see that pushed to 12, 6 Vs 6 survivor team challenge, using the double tile option, each group must kill as many zombies they can in a short period of time but do so with out loosing a survivor.] for solo game you have 4 survivors and play through a scenario. the scenarios could be saving people, to finding food, gear, weapons or even hunting zombies. One thing about this game to understand that NOISE is a big part of the game, you fire a gun it generates a noise token, opening a door will also generate a noise token and spawn zombies into that room. Also as you kill Zombies and complete scenarios your level increases from yellow, to red, to .... as each level is reached this will increase the amount of Zombies spawned. eg you make have one character at Yellow and one at Red, you take the highest character in that zone and spawn the amount of Zombies that match to that colour. So sometimes its not a good idea to shoot a zombie, running away may be a better option its that kind of thinking that will either save your arse or get you killed. Also you can find weapons, equipment as well to help you kill even faster/better. Hope this helps.... I just up grade my pledge to include the extra tiles, now I can make a huge town for my 12 survivors to roam around killing Zombies. Cheers LGW

| I am loving it. The solo games will be great.
When I first started a zombie game, yes, it is what I was working on before DS.
It as a Resident Evil strike squad, like in Movie 1, and you had to go in and resuce people, if you wanted and try to get a helicopter out.
I was working on noise would attract zombies and you had options to save people but it provided risks or rewards but that got sidetracked after Mord and I played Nids versus IG on space hulk tiles and here we are with DS. LOL.
