| Very cool - these models are superb (and we'll reach this stretch goal in no time!) - what I'd like to see next is new character sculpts to add to the mix and/or extra tiles for the game. These stretch goals are quite small which suggests they've got a lot more to offer!
This is turning into a better deal than Zombicide (I'll never need to by another GW model again with all the painting I'll have lined up!).

still have 4 more German HQ's to sort out and the over all army Co as well. then I need to plan out my Soviet forces which most likely be a third more troops/armour/command then what I'll have for the Germans. As for the Soviets I am certain I'll have a crap load more to paint up then those.
then add on all the figs I got from Zombicide, and now Sedition wars, and eventually Super dungeon explore when I get it, plus I still got more warmachine coming in June, July, and August.
I have SO MUCH to paint its over whelming .

| Dork... hehehehe
Back on topic. Sedition Wars: Battle for Alabaster seems to doing well. They have reached $114,835 with 28 days to go.
Seems like they would soon make it... once they do, you get 75 models for $100. Not enough for me to tempt me... yet.

| Very close to the next stretch - $118,985
The gameplay update is ace - really simple mechanic that allows some degree of reactive play (while remaining turn by turn. I put my money in early on (I'm just hoping the stretches don't turn into - pay an extra $10 an you'll get model x - that would be bad for my bank balance!).

| This model Barker Zosa is the next edition for the $140K stretch goal - beautiful model and hints of cool things to come at 160, 180, 200 on the strain side of things perhaps! Laney | |

| Curse you all! How can I resist this, but then how can I buy it when I still have two boxes of Space Hulk sitting in my parents house that I have played only a couple times?
The game and models look very cool, an Imperial Guard deathsquad perhaps? The only issue is finding someone to play it with and time to play it instead of all the other games I have.
I have also been waiting for this game to come out http://monstersinthesky.com/ it look awesome, but can I justify both...... probably.

| Go on - you know you want to! That Leviathans game looks ace (very quirky take on the stuff currently out there).
If it makes you feel any better - I have a copy of Space Hulk unopened at home (and my game copy of course), but this game gives me a death squad (or two), ace models and nurgle cultists/zombies and a game all in one (bargain I say - especially as this is McVey!).

| Da Bank I edited your post as it sort of looked like we got some more figs at $150k but instead we only get a downloadable campaign.
I do like the dice and am looking forward to the next stretch goal after the $170k

| Thanks for the updates!
Still not pledging... but becoming somewhat tempting. I think that the DL Campaign Stretch Goal is an insult. Producing the PDF module could cost (new art) $3k.... asking $10k is absurd. Now, 6 dice for $20k?!? No. Reaching the goal would take ~1,400 backers, which means that each dice could cost $2.30... bull.
Why they stop pussy-footing around... instead, CHANGE THE FREAKING TILES! The tiles look very cheap. Make high quality tiles. That could tempt me. How about NICE dead counters. None of the cardboard skull crap... how about 12 corpses and 12 pile of bones to represent the dead? How about some nice nano-whatever markers? Hell, how about nice plastic counters (so no need for crappy paperclips?
I wish the use the stretch goal to increase the quality of the game (like Zombicide did), instead of trying to be cute. Meanwhile... I will watch.

| I like the stretch goals - the campaign idea is cool for only a $10K stretch (which will easily get hit). The dice are a little boring as a stratch but not surprising. The next big one should be additional tiles or extra strain special models (Mord - check out the updates - the tiles are genuinely very good, but an extra set would mean you could use a mix of both sides).
Loving this and already on board - so any additions now are a bonus for me.

| about time it seems to be dragging the last couple of days. No big jumps...
I hope they actually listen and give us extra tiles in the next stretch [After the 170k stretch that is]
though I am REALLY considering ordering some of the Hirst Art molds to make up some 3D terrain boards.

- Update #4: Sedition Wars tile design
Posted on May 28 We are just pitting the finishing touches on a couple of the tiles, but I thought we would give you a sneak peek.
There were a few different routes we could take with the tiles. When we did the alpha rules we created a poster map that was rendered in a hi-tech blue-print style. While I loved it, it wasn't quite the look I wanted for the finished game. I wanted the tiles to be rendered in a 'realistic' style that made you think you were looking at a real location. I wanted to present Alabaster Station as a definite place - a secret facility that the Strain nano-virus has ravaged and swept clean. The virus consume all organic and non-organic material it comes across - re-purposing it into part of the construct.
In the course of my career, I have been lucky enough to become friends with some incredibly talented people, and the person who did the art for these tiles is one of the most gifted artists I know. Rich Wright worked on a wide variety of products for GW - he did the tile art for Warhammer Quest and Space Hulk 2nd edition, along with most of the 40K vehicle cover paintings in the mid nineties. Since then he's produced matte painting and 3D work for a wide variety of well known projects - the intro scenes for Motorstorm, Muse Sing for Absolution video, and many other high profile projects.
He built the tiles for Battle for Alabaster completely in 3D - lighting and rendering them just as you would with any vfx shot, then importing them into photoshop and adding details, weathering and blood stains. I really love the results.
We purposely kept the designs pretty clean and futuristic - Sedition Wars is a high-tech universe so we wanted to steer well clear of any dark and gothic elements. I didn't want them cluttered with furniture and details - partly because all that would have been consumed by the virus, and partly because it would interfere with game play.
There are ten different tiles, and one transit network car (that's a train!), so that gives you a wide variety of different board set ups. What the pictures here don't really show is the size of the tiles - each is 12x12 25mm squares, so they are 350mm square (including borders) - pretty big! You can link them together in a lot of different ways - creating many different settings for games.
The ones I have shown here are the Cargo Bay, the Personnel area, the Engine Control Room and the Transit Car (you get two of these - there is an awesome scenario that needs both of them).
I hope you like them!
